Texturing

Texturing organic assets can start fairly early on because we use polypaint which allows us to paint straight onto the high res sculpt, helping to achieve the overall look.

After said stage, finessing the texture will be done in Mari or Substance to reach the final diffuse texture, along with specular and many other maps needed for look development.

Hard surface textures however take a different pipeline route by moving straight into Mari to use a more node based texturing workflow.
