VICTORIA’S BUCKINGHAM HOUSE 1837

The model and texture of the Buckingham House was made to match it’s original state in 1837 when Marble Arch was the entrance, before it was moved to Green Park and Buckingham House had been renovated to Buckingham Palace.

All of the measurements had to be completely accurate to its original build, when Queen Victoria moved in during its final stage of construction in 1837.

As you can see below, Buckingham House was modeled to not waste any polycount on surfaces that did not need to be subdidved. A lot of udims were overlapped (if necessary) to make the most of texture maps for such a large scale asset.
